About Us

For the last two years, we have served as tour guides leading expeditions from the city of Edinburgh into the Highlands of Scotland. In the course of this, we have seen the wee town of Inverness grow into a city in her own right.

In the great scheme of things, Scotland is a small country, but she makes up in intensity what she lacks in size. While the great cities of the south are worth a visit in their own right, if you want to explore the highlands fully, we believe you should start further north.

Inverness is a fantastic base from which to explore the northern Highlands,
and while there is public transport, it can be sparse and inflexible due to the
low population and rugged terrain.

Weaim to providetours which serve both as a satisfying full-day expedition for those short of time, but also as an introduction to the wider possibilities of exploration in this incredibly varied and beautiful region.

Our tours are aimed at the younger end of the travel market 18-30 but we pride ourselves on our motto 'Tours for the young and the young at heart.' We won't be doing any major mountain climbing on our day tours so if you want to jump aboard our relaxed atmosphere tour, and you don't mind the occasional joke, then please feel welcome whoever you are!

We are both Scottish born and bred, and have a love for tale-telling and discovering the hidden corners of history. We believe the highland weather to be a character-building experience that should not be missed.

Who we are:

  • Natives of Scotland, but also keen travellers.
  • Storytellers -history, mythology and tall tales

Who we aren't:

  • Part of a large travel network or corporation.
  • 'By the numbers' tour guides. If you catch us saying "and on your left you can see" with a glazed expression on our faces, please put us to the dirk, and leave our gralloched* corpses as a warning to others.

What we do:

  • We seek to entertain you andget you involved
  • Take you to places we love, not necessarily on the 'trail'.
  • Take the back roads - no endless views of tarmac...
  • Try to give you a deeper understanding of the highlands.
  • Combine must-see places with lesser-known wonders

What we dont do:

  • Drive all the way from Edinburgh and back in one day (shudder)
  • Use big buses - we like to keep it personal.
